23022999_1749087535126134_927401044_oThe training course “Volunteer boost” organized by NGO Brno for you z.s. took place from 6th to 14th October, in Bartošovice, Czech Republic. Participants came from Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Poland, and Italy. This project was co-funded by the European Union under the frame of the Erasmus+ programme. The project covered themes such as volunteering and volunteers’ management and coordination. It included activities and exercises focused on topics as getting the organization ready to host a volunteer, induction, and training of volunteers, conflict management, and evaluation procedures. During the week, the participants also exchanged information about their countries, explored the similarities as well as the differences between them and shared experience within the area of their expertise.

 

The Italian group was represented by Sona Arevshatyan, the Youmore Morcelli Giovani coordinator, who is at the same time tutor of volunteers of the European Volunteering System; Alessandro Vinati, professor of the IIS ‘B. Castelli’ of the city of Brescia, who is the coordinator of different volunteers who are collaborating with the school and within non-profit organizations; and Tamoor Jan, one of the students from Bologna active in the world of volunteering.

Meantime, it allowed us to expand our knowledge and expertise in the amazing world of volunteering and the way the growth and training of the volunteers themselves will be treated’, the responsible of Youmore Morcelli Giovani shared with us.

At the end, during the project, with the help of the whole staff present at the training, this blog was created and in the brief, it will be created cognitive video necessary for the dissemination of the project and its contents.
