Volunteering as an example of strengthening

23022999_1749087535126134_927401044_oThe training course “Volunteer boost” organized by NGO Brno for you z.s. took place from 6th to 14th October, in Bartošovice, Czech Republic. Participants came from Slovakia, Romania, Czech Republic, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, Poland, and Italy. This project was co-funded by the European Union under the frame of the Erasmus+ programme. The project covered themes such as volunteering and volunteers’ management and coordination. It included activities and exercises focused on topics as getting the organization ready to host a volunteer, induction, and training of volunteers, conflict management, and evaluation procedures. During the week, the participants also exchanged information about their countries, explored the similarities as well as the differences between them and shared experience within the area of their expertise.

Coordinating meeting in Macedonia

From the 13th to the 16th of July the project manager of Youmore Morcelli Giovani Uliana Bychkova represented the Eurodesk Agency from Chiari at the international meeting “Volunteering for acceptance and tolerance” in Kumanovo, Republic of Macedonia. The members of the acreditated agencies of the Erasmus Plus Program coming from Greece, Slovakia, Republic of Macedonia, Italia and Turkey got confronted on the delicate and actual subject of accepting and integrating the immigrants and the refugees. It were also discussed the criteria about the realization of a big project of integral accepting of young people to the European Voluntary Service (EVS), promoted by the Macedonian Agency CID in partnership with the Countries that share the same initiative. Simone from Lumezzane discovers “Poetry Slam” in Potsdam and Berlin

Simone Cavagna, twenty-years-old student of Linguistics International Relations at Catholic University Sacro Cuore of Brescia, took part in the training course “The Power of the World Poetry Slam for fighting social inequality” promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani and coordinated by the project manager Justina Krauledaitė. The project was held in Germany, in Potsdam and Berlin from the 13th to the 21th of November with total cover of food and accommodation costs and reimbursement of 100% of travel costs.                     Simone, a student of the language faculty of University Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia, is the only Italian participant selected for the training course “The Power of the World Poetry Slam for fighting social inequality” promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani which will take place in Potsdam and Berlin, Germany from 13 to 21 of November. “In total this initiative has been joined by twenty European countries, one participant from each country – said Justina Krauledaitė, a project manager of Youmore Morcelli Giovani. Just few weeks passed after my return trip from an amazing training course “InFormal”. This training course took place from 6 tilJustina, Rostovl 16 of September in Rostov the Great, in Russia. In Russia there are two cities with the same name, the other Rostov which is close to the river Don, is in the south of the country. There I had an opportunity to participate in international training course “InFormal”, get to know an antique city of Rostov the Great which is more than 200 km far away from the capital Moscow, on the cost of Black lake. This city is also recognized as one of the historical capitals which belongs to the group called “The Golden Ring”. Continue reading
