IncontroOn Monday, February 8, in the Municipality of Coccaglio, the national president Eurodesk Italy, Ramon Magi, thanks to the active contribution of Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano from Chiari, met representatives of Youth Policy from area Oglio West to illustrate community programs Erasmus Plus promoted at local level for youth orientation by the European Union and the Europe Council. On Tuesday, February 9, it was hold another meeting in the Municipality of Chiari open to the public and coordinated by the representative of the Youth Policy Department – Laura Capitanio and the project managers from Eurodesk Chiari Youmore Morcelli Giovani Sona Arevshatyan and Justina Krauledaitè to allow Ramon Magi to promote youth mobility initiatives in Chiari having as a reference point Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano. At this meeting there were also representatives from Eurodesk Agency Sarezzo and InformaGiovani from Palazzolo sull’Oglio.

“The offers in youth orientation sector, said the President Magi, Ramon Magi incontroshould be from intensive cooperation between enterprises, public and private resources to promote investments that could attract attention and participation of young people. Now new generations have a prospective of their knowledge development at European level; it is very innovative opportunity that represents a quantum leap in youth education. Among the most important goals in Europe in 2020 we aim in particular to strengthen the youth education level at least by 4%. In this program a strategic function is carried out by Eurodesk Agencies that have a direct link with local reality. The aim is to encourage smart, sustainable and inclusive growth of our guys in Europe 2020. Young people have the capacity to learn, unlearn and relearn thanks to new learning forms that promote stereotypes’ overcoming at European level and develop sharing and hospitality. Therefore we are open to new collaborative opportunities with the District Oglio West Municipalities identifying Fondazione Istituto Morcelliano as a partner of election through initiatives and projects promoted by Youmore Morcelli Giovani that for a year and a half are at full time work as Eurodesk Agency Chiari “. Sona Arevshatyan and Justina Krauledaitè explained the activities already realized by Youmore Morcelli Giovani, accredited as Eurodesk Agency in 2015 and in 2016. “The statistical data of initiatives actives till now – clarified a Youmore project manager – show that, in less than two years, we have successfully implemented ten transnational mobility programs – including youth exchanges and training courses – with 40 participants, 23 of them were from Chiari or the District Oglio West Municipalities. It means that for the first time Eurodesk Agency from Chiari allowed to a large number of young people in our area to participate in these international projects that already help many of them to find new options for studying, working and internship abroad “.

At the open meeting on the 9th of February participated three guys who had taken part in the youth projects promoted by Youmore: Renato Marini from the association Juna of Chiari recently returned from a youth exchange in Poland, Giulia Marullo, a youthworker of Youmore, and Simone Cavagna of Lumezzane taken part in a training course in Germany. “Youmore Morcelli Giovani opened my eyes to a world that I did not know before – stated Giulia Marullo – thanks to Youmore Morcelli Giovani, Europe is becoming my home and in fact I’m waiting for an answer from an EVS project”. The meetings with representatives of the Youth Policy of the District Oglio West Municipalities are a launch pad for new prospective to be realized in favor of young people in the Erasmus Plus platform, confirming the leading role of Eurodesk Agency from Chiari to “open the door” for new entrepreneurship projects and possible internships with resources guaranteed by the European Union.
